I'm Emma and True North Yoga is my passion.
I developed True North Yoga Wellbeing Hub as a place to nourish the body, mind and soul through various offerings. The spiritual meaning of True North is our innermost desire of our soul, the calling of our spirit and the wisdom of the heart. It is our internal compass that guides us towards our purpose and fulfilment.
We all find yoga for different reasons but a lot of us (including myself) come to yoga for the physical aspects of the practice. Over time it is difficult not to notice the effects on the mind too. Through the connection with breath and awareness of mind we can reduce stress and anxiety in our everyday lives. 


When I found yoga, I knew that this was the path for me - nothing has ever felt so right! The physical practice of yoga was my first draw card, doing wonders for chronic back pain I’d been dealing with for 10 years, but I also noticed how it soothed my soul and brought me great feelings of wellbeing. Yoga has helped me to deal with the stressors of life through techniques such as pranayama and I feel deeply alined with the teachings of yogic philosophy.
